Gisteren hebben we , in intieme kring, afscheid genomen van Marcel De Buck . Marcel kwam 50 jaar geledenin ons leven , en voor ons allen was dit een nieuwe start. Met ons vieren , Marcel , ons moeder , m’n broer en mezelf maakten we een goed, soms tumultueus , maar toch een goed team. Hij heeft ondanks vele tegenslagen toch een rijk en gevuld leven kunnen leiden . Deze foto toont hem op z’n best , actief met een liefde voor paarden, dynamisch en vol met leven. Hij is begin vorige week in z’n slaap overleden . Voor altijd in onze gedachten, rust in vrede lieve Marcel.

Yesterday we said our goodbyes to Marcel De Buck. 50 years ago Marcel came into our lives, and for all of us this meant a new start. The four of us, Marcel, our mom , my brother and myself , made a good, sometimes tumultuous, but still good team. Despite some backlashes, Marcel lived a good and rich life , this picture shows him at his best , active, with a passion for horses, dynamic and full of life. Early last week he passed away peacefully in his sleep. For always in our memories, rest in peace, dear Marcel .

Collaborating with photographer @pierredebusschere and 10’s Sophia Neophitou, Philips envisions a painterly beauty story built on a modern approach to colour, where bold shades appear natural and beautiful, somehow both strong and bold and also as light as air.
Philips has now been at Dior for 12 years, sitting down with @edwinaingschambers to discuss his approach to building Dior’s beloved products, how he comes up with looks for the catwalk and his excitement around the new @jonathan.anderson era for the house.
