It was exciting to share the Cleveland High School designs with thousands of community members late last month. Alumni, neighbors, and future students were able to see designs of the new school and share their memories about what makes Cleveland unique.

This event was a great cap to 2 1/2 years of engagement with the Cleveland community, including more than 20 planning/design committee meetings, six public workshops, and dozens of focus group meetings with students and staff. Salvage, abatement, and deconstruction will start this summer. Next school year, students will begin learning at Cleveland @ Marshall. Instruction will begin at the modernized Cleveland in fall 2029. The team beautifully integrated mass timber, bringing warmth, texture, and a real sense of character to the interior spaces. The courtyard landscape slips through the site beneath the connecting bridge, creating a unique and memorable spatial moment. Can't wait to see this built!

Inspired by countless site visits during the design of this stunning tasting room for @langoloestate. On one particular day, the fog was just beginning to lift, and the sun started to break through. In this image, I wanted to remember that quiet, cozy moment, perfect for enjoying a glass of their beautiful Pinot Noir.
