For a while there, it looked like LiveWire was destined to end not with a bang but a whimper. If the brand’s recent acquisition of electric startup Dust Moto says anything, it seemingly isn’t ready to go gentle into that good night.
Harley-Davidson’s electric offshoot purchased the Oregon-based company on Tuesday, citing its plan to “grow beyond on‑road electric motorcycles and address the rapidly expanding electric off‑road market.”
If Dust Moto isn’t ringing a bell, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Founded by UBCO alums Colin Godby and Jarett Volkoff in 2023, the firm specialized in electric dirt bike prototypes akin to the Stark VARG MX. (👉 READ MORE via Link in @revzilla Bio)

The Michelin Anakee Adventure 2: Because your 80/20 tire shouldn’t sound like a swarm of angry hornets at 70 MPH. 🐝
Michelin somehow engineered a 30% reduction in road noise into these bad boys. That’s a 30% increase in peace, quiet, and regretting that third breakfast burrito. They also threw in 14% more longevity and enough silica magic to make wet asphalt feel like Velcro.
It’s the tire for people who love the dirt but spend most of their time dodging minivans on the interstate. No judgment. We do it too.
Hit the link in @RevZilla bio to grab a set and quiet the inner demons (and the road noise).

The air filter is usually not the first thing mentioned in a motorcycle review, but I was intrigued as soon as I read that the redesign of the Ducati DesertX for 2026 included relocating the air filter from buried underneath the tank to easily accessible within minutes. It's such a seemingly small change, but it immediately signaled to me that Ducati has taken rider feedback into account in this fully redesigned adventure-touring bike and made it more approachable.
Born from an EICMA 2019 concept and put into production in 2021, the first-generation DesertX immediately won over many adventure-touring enthusiasts with its Ducati styling and engine character coupled with off-road capability signaled by its 21-inch front wheel. This second-generation DesertX aims to further improve its off-road performance while also appealing more to everyday enthusiasts, without sacrificing that Ducati je ne sais quoi. The DesertX keeps its old spirit but not much else. The complete overhaul draws on what the company has learned from years of rider testing and competition in everything from the Erzbergrodeo to the NORRA Mexican 1000 Rally. I'd like to think they also read your forum comment about how cumbersome it was to carry a 36 mm, 12-point socket on your adventure trip for the previous gen's axle nut, or saw the photos of your dented metal tank after that unfortunate low-speed drop. The air filter makes me think that maybe they did. (👉 READ MORE via Link in @revzilla Bio)

Today's your last day to submit your bid to buy a unique piece of motorcycle racing history. The Aprilia RS125R that Valentino Rossi rode to victory at the 1996 Czech Republic Grand Prix in Brno, his first ever world championship win, is up for auction by Sotheby's.
Rossi rode the Aprilia in his first year of world championship competition in the 125 class, back in the two-stroke era. Sotheby's said the RS125R has only had three owners, including the original Aprilia race team. The motorcycle was sold after the end of the race season to a private owner, who kept it until 2013, when it was sold to the current owner who has put it up for auction. Sotheby's said the ownership chain is fully documented and the bike also comes with documentation from the Aprilia race team of the races it was part of during the 1996 season. Carnage in Catalonia: Two massive crashes. Two red flags. Two riders transported to the hospital. Both @alexmarquez73 and @johannzarco are conscious and recovering after two separate race-halting crashes stopped action at the Catalan Grand Prix.
•
@fabiodiggia49 captured his second career MotoGP victory. Diggia's performance is all the more impressive considering he crashed during the first red-flag incident. The @vr46racingteam Ducati satellite rider now sits in third place in the Rider Championship, just 24 points behind series leader @marcobez72.
•
Despite struggling throughout Saturday's Sprint Race and Sunday's Grand Prix, Bezzecchi extended his lead over Factory @aprilia teammate @89jorgemartin, who crashed out of both races.
•
Honda heartbreak: The Catalan chaos continued even after the checkered flag flew, with race direction handing second-place finisher @joanmir36official a 16-second penalty for low tire pressure. As a result, the Honda rider finished out of the point-scoring positions, in 17th place.
•
Will the Aprilia Team recover from a disappointing Catalan Grand Prix, or will the field continue to narrow the gap? Ducati would love nothing more than to catch the Noale Factory when MotoGP action returns for the Italian Grand Prix on May 29-31. Next stop: Mugello!

Carnage in Catalonia: Two massive crashes. Two red flags. Two riders transported to the hospital. Both @alexmarquez73 and @johannzarco are conscious and recovering after two separate race-halting crashes stopped action at the Catalan Grand Prix.
