Paris Olympics 2024

A UNIFORM FOR THE REBIRTH OF THE  FIRST BLACK REPUBLIC

I was assigned the privilege of designing the official uniforms for the 12 athletes representing Haiti at the Olympics-Paris2024.

Take the time to hear the stories of the Haitian women and men who will proudly showcase their uniforms at the Seine’ opening ceremony on July 26th, symbolizing their commitment to leading the country out of the international isolation in a positive manner.

These 12 will stand and compete for a nation that asks the world not to forget that it has changed history. Responding to their call,is not only an ethical duty, as the present and future of multilateralism is at stake.

These 12 Haitian standard bearers of peace have an even more demanding task than arriving to the podium as medal recipients. They are 12 living symbols of rebirth & militant hope.

I am humbled to have joined forces with one of the greatest living Haitian artists: Philippe Dodard @philippedodard , whose paintingwas used as an all-over print for the skirt and trousers of the uniform.

I believe that these athletes have already won the most important medal by their very own presence in Paris.
The winning category: human sustainability.

Haiti exists and wants to live standing up on HER two feet:
