[ e s c ] is an Ongoing Realities award-winning dance performance turned into film. [ e s c ] explores escapism as a concept and state. With components from different time periods and movement languages the work explores the need for pause and imagination. The choreographic inquiry delves into how old and new technologies shape and enhance what we escape from or into. [ e s c ] is a mysterious space and place where past, present, and future meet in an ongoing becoming.
