Valentin Clastrier (FR)
Acclaimed modern hurdy-gurdy virtuoso, Valentin Clastrier is one of the few performers in the world specializing in contemporary music for the instrument; before Clastrier, it was used primarily in the performance of European Medieval and folk music. In 1982, he received the Grand Prix du Disque of the Académie Charles-Cros for his album La vielle à roue de l’imaginaire. In 1984, Clastrier was named Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture for his contributions to music and instrument innovation.

Lucia Kagramanya (AM / AT)
Lucia Kagramanyan is a resident of NTS Radio (Panorama Yerevan) and Radio Alhara - known for her Armenian music features and research, she extends her work that spans selector shows, club DJing, and listening sessions.

Daisy Ray (BE) 
Daisy Ray’s interaction with sound is characterised by an intuitive bricolage-like playfulness. Imagine clubby bitter sweet nursery rhymes turned to feverish dreams.

Enzo Medeiros (UK)
Enzo Medeiros is a Brazilian-born artist living and working in London. Being raised in a Brazilian household, he developed a DJ practice driven by patient listening in pursuit of percussion, swing, minimalism, and texture.

B2E (Back 2 Egg) is a duo - young storytellers, a duet of fellas, a couple of cups of coffee and shared space in between. 

Resimota (UK)
Resimota is an audio project by Tom Phillips and Christopher Lewin. They work as selectors, archivists, surveyors and editors.

“Mitsubishi Suicide is a band formed in London, 2021.”

“The award-winning London Bulgarian Choir was founded in 2000 by Dessislava Stefanova (Dessi), a professional singer and former assistant conductor with the legendary Philip Koutev Bulgarian National Folk Ensemble in Sofia.

Now 40-strong, this vibrant choir has taken its unique repertoire of Bulgarian folk songs, in traditional and contemporary arrangements, to festivals, concert halls and cathedrals all over Europe, as well as making regular tours of Bulgaria.
The choir’s playful and passionate performances transcend language barriers and stir the emotions, with crunchy harmonies and wonky beats woven into timeless tales of love and loss, fighting and celebration.

The choir has also released three albums, collaborated with numerous rock, jazz and classical musicians, and guest-starred on the BBC, on Netflix and at the National Theatre.”

Bios:

Pumice - Since the early 1990’s, Aotearoa / New Zealander, Stefan Neville has recorded and performed iconoclastic pieces of broken & repurposed pop song as Pumice. He delicately smears together droning NZ folk, jangly Pakeha blues, & scorched Pacific skiffle. Usually performed on multiple instruments at once, with a security blanket of grot & tape saturation through crumbling shitty speakers.

Milkweed - UK-based duo making experimental folk music steeped in myth, memory and the weight of inherited stories. Their latest record, Remscéla, is a haunting and expansive work rooted in the prelude tales of the Táin Bó Cúailnge, an epic of Irish mythology, filtered through the language of Thomas Kinsella’s 1969 translation. This is folk music not defined by genre but by method: fragmentary, reverent and radically interpretive.

Curbside Lambsear - Curbside Lambsear feels a bit like grit in the mouth and loves awkward poetry. Hear low sinewave humms and viola scratches over sample loops, collected from pretty much wherever. Often feels a bit sad, erratic and elated. Curbside Lambsear are Magdalena Mclean and Annabelle Mödlinger.

+ Roundabout Sound (workshop) - Currently a sound and music workshop series involving open-tuned instruments and live dub mixing. Open to anyone who’d like to join.
