Who are we writing for when we write a grant application? How much do we reshape our work to fit criteria that do not fit our realities? And how do we break the cycle of applying, waiting, and applying again, one we keep reproducing but never agreed to?

YOUR APPLICATION GOT ACCEPTED is a two-day intensive by Low-Budget Projects that starts not from the fantasy of the perfect application, but from where most of us actually are. Together we develop the kind of understanding the Dutch art funding system has no interest in investing in: how it works, who it serves, and how to move through it on our own terms.

We go beyond what is written on checklists. We study accepted applications. We draft real proposals. We map the financial flows between funding bodies, institutions, and art workers. We make the unwritten rules of grant applications visible.
