It’s been a long road for “Before We Forget,” and I’m ecstatic to finally be able to share the trailer. This film was a labor of love and an absolute pleasure to shoot for directors @juanpablodipace & @andrespestrada. Aside from having stellar international crews in Italy & Argentina I also got to collaborate with my best friend and partner in crime @casting.amanda - the cast she assembled operated on another level and took this film to new heights: @madrussan @oscamorgan @juliabender among many others.

“Before We Forget” is a staggeringly beautiful depiction of trying (and sometimes failing) to remember every detail of our first loves. Di Pace leads the film as Matias, an Argentine filmmaker grappling with an unfinished movie that was inspired by his friendship with a Swedish classmate he met at boarding school in 1997.”

End of an era. Come April Panavision Hollywood will be closing its doors for good. It’s hard to overstate how much real estate this place holds in my head & heart. Some 20 years ago when I was a young pup in college I somehow conned Dave O’Neal in to giving me an internship there. I showed up day one in a shirt and tie and was immediately dispatched to the scrub pile. I couldn’t have been happier to be surrounded by Hollywood’s heavy hitters and all that amazing gear. Fast forward a year and I was able to get in to the two year program. Still scraping cases but surrounded by the best friends and coworkers a guy could ask for. Countless late Friday nights scanning out jobs and eating godawful takeout pizza but we didn’t care - we were all chasing our dreams and building towards something. We’d cheer all the 2 year alumni who would return as loaders, 2nds, and 1sts - one day hoping we’d get the chance to come back and prep jobs there. That day eventually came for me and it always felt like coming home, seeing all the familiar faces. Eventually those faces changed, new dreams were realized, but the building remained. And so did the laughs. The relationships. The friends. And the memories. Thanks for it all PVH. You will be missed…
