IndieWire debuts an exclusive first clip from "Sheep in the Box," the latest feature from director Hirokazu Kore-eda and @neonrated.
The film follows a grieving couple who, after losing their son, welcome a seemingly identical humanoid into their lives.
The film will screen as part of the Official Selection in competition as part of the Cannes Film Festival this year.

IndieWire presents “Music, Film & the New Storytelling Stack — Co-Authoring What Comes Next,” a can’t-miss event featuring a live collaboration between composer Roahn Hylton, who will compose music on the spot, and Krea co-founder and chief technology officer Diego Rodriguez, who will be building visuals to accompany the music alongside him in real time.
The experiment will be followed by a fireside conversation between promise studios co-founder and chief creative officer Dave Clark and Cultural Leadership Fund partner Judene Smalls about the current state of studio models and the process of scaling creative products.
