First MTB ride since tearing my MCL. It may have been a bit too ambitious given the mud and the elevations gain πŸ˜…...but I couldn't pass up the views on the Queen Charlotte Track πŸ™ŒπŸ½.

A beautiful week learning about Tribal-led initiatives around Salmon restoration in the Columbia River Basin. So neat to see the traditional platform fishing of the Yakama Nation and grateful for the knowledge and traditions they shared with us over the past couple of days πŸ™πŸ½.

These past two months have been quite the whirlwind! My work took me to some of the lesser known regions of Michigan, Dominican Republic, Samoa, Fiji and Brazil. While my 40th birthday trip brought me back to the Basque region of both France and Spain...a place that has long been near and dear to my heart.

I feel incredibly grateful to have a job that enables me to travel, while also recognizing that as I get older, I may not need to be as on-the-go as I used to be πŸ˜…. I'm thankful to finally have a couple weeks back at home in California to process and appreciate the experiences of the past couple months πŸ™πŸ½.
