Daniel Ávila is an award-winning music producer, engineer, and artist from Mexico City. Zebedee Row is an actor, musician, and filmmaker from Melbourne. Both now based in NYC, Zebedee and Daniel have collaborated on countless musical projects over the past decade. They were so motivated to expand their collaboration and break new ground, they founded Zero Daze in 2024.
Zero Daze is a production company specializing in cinematic sound and music production, and Zips is their second short film. Their previous film, “Fast Edee”, was selected for Tribeca Film Festival 2025, and competed in two categories: Short Film and Music Video.
They’ve been working hard behind the scenes on “Zips,” creating loads of original music for the soundtrack, and perfecting the dynamic sound design.
“Dani and I had a blast working on the film. Surely one of the coolest eras to explore, musically. Four to the floor disco bangers, 70s Bond film ballads, synth noir soundscapes… We can’t wait to share it with the world, and we hope it brings everyone as much joy as it brought us in making it.”
