A London-based artist shaped by a childhood in the brutalist landscape of Thamesmead in the 80s and 90s, a world of concrete, shadow, and quiet tension. Early creativity gave way to conformity, silencing artistic expression for years. Decades later, a surreal, almost angelic encounter disrupted that path, forcing a deep confrontation with identity, purpose, and self-worth. Zetrunk transforms suppression into expression, embracing both chaos and humour in the process.
Now reclaiming a sense of youthful freedom, Zetrunk uses art as a channel to communicate emotion and thought. Their work is bold and colourful, drawing on pop art and advertising aesthetics, with striking shapes, words, and symbols that turn inner dialogue into visual language, encouraging others to push past self-doubt and keep moving forward.
