Summer it’s on its way fast! Proud to be announced and playing on the White Horse Stage at Doolin Folk Fest 2026 in Co. Clare, Ireland. It’s one of those festivals where everyone is just always having the time of their lives. Great acts and amazing crowds for our second performance there in June. We can’t wait to be back. Ein Folk-Trio der Extra-Klasse besucht uns am Samstag: Die YONDER BOYS kommen mit ihrem mit Spannung erwarteten zweiten Album "a makeshift family" im Gepäck, das sie im letzten Sommer veröffentlicht haben.

Bekannt für ihre einfallsreichen Gesangsharmonien und ihre meisterhafte Beherrschung traditioneller Instrumente, interpretieren die Yonder Boys Folk-Musik weiterhin durch eine experimentelle Bluegrass-Brille neu.

Die Yonder Boys sind ein internationales Trio aus den USA, Australien und Chile. Ihre Musik wurde bereits auf BBC, RTE, Deutschlandfunk Kultur und MTV Australia gespielt. Das neue Album „a makeshift family“ ist ein herzliches und furchtloses Statement – verwurzelt im zeitlosen Geist der Folk-Musik und gleichzeitig mutig in unbekanntes Klangterrain vorstoßend.

Die Yonder Boys ehren ihre Wurzeln, gehen aber unermüdlich ihren eigenen Weg, erweitern die Grenzen des Genres und definieren neu, was Folk-Musik in der Moderne sein kann.

We are back. But wait. Not another tour???!!!! 🥶❄️⛄️❤️😱 You betcha! This time back in the scary deep south of Germany and heading even further to Switzerland for a gig too. Just before Spring springs at the end of ole March. Yonder Boys hit yet another highway to bring you their very special type of sauce serving the new album “a makeshift family”. Old time instruments, folky songs, harmony, melody, with their bluegrass inspired acoustic music. All unplugged, almost, and all original (almost). This post is almost the most!

Het nieuwe album “a makeshift family” is een oprecht en gedurfd statement—geworteld in de tijdloze geest van folk, maar tegelijk avontuurlijk en vernieuwend. Yonder Boys eren hun muzikale wortels, maar blijven hun eigen pad uitstippelen, waarbij ze de grenzen van het genre oprekken en herdefiniëren wat folkmuziek in de moderne tijd kan zijn.
