yuth club, a place to call home.
yuth club was never about filling a room. it was about building a home.
a space to think, to exchange, to sharpen taste through reference and dialogue. where ideas could breathe, and people could arrive as they are and leave with something more, clarity, connection, confidence.
building this alongside my brother @trav059 my real life family showed me how important it is to find people you truly align with. not just in taste, but in intention, in how you move and how you see the world. when that alignment is real, things flow. no friction, just rhythm.
months of building, late nights, constant refinement, sticking to our vision and values all in belief that what we were creating was bigger than us. and seeing it come to life the way it did, with the people it did, meant everything.
it’s hard to articulate, but it felt like being in a moment you wish you could pause, where everything around you is moving, it all makes sense and all you want to do is hold onto it for a second longer. a moment where the energy in the room speaks louder than anything that could be said.
and to everyone who helped shape this, this belongs to you as much as it does to us. your time, your energy, your presence is ingrained in every part of this. we don’t build without you. this is for us, by us. always.
the work is not to force the outcome, but to create the conditions for something real to emerge.
space is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. without it, culture doesn’t move.
@nikesportswear didn’t just back the outcome, they believed in the intention, creating space for minds to connect, build, and push things forward.
yuth club is not a moment. it’s a model. a framework. a proof of concept. for the yuth, for the future, for what’s possible when we choose to create space.
air max is for the yuth, and yuth is forever.

a space to think, to exchange, to sharpen taste through reference and dialogue. where ideas could breathe, and people could arrive as they are and leave with something more, clarity, connection, confidence.
building this alongside my brother @trav059 my real life family showed me how important it is to find people you truly align with. not just in taste, but in intention, in how you move and how you see the world. when that alignment is real, things flow. no friction, just rhythm.
months of building, late nights, constant refinement, sticking to our vision and values all in belief that what we were creating was bigger than us. and seeing it come to life the way it did, with the people it did, meant everything.
it’s hard to articulate, but it felt like being in a moment you wish you could pause, where everything around you is moving, it all makes sense and all you want to do is hold onto it for a second longer. a moment where the energy in the room speaks louder than anything that could be said.
and to everyone who helped shape this, this belongs to you as much as it does to us. your time, your energy, your presence is ingrained in every part of this. we don’t build without you. this is for us, by us. always.
the work is not to force the outcome, but to create the conditions for something real to emerge.
space is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. without it, culture doesn’t move.

@yokenfo’s practice spans DJing, curation and community building, shaped by an understanding of how culture moves through people and spaces. For him, @nikesportswear Air Max carries weight as a cultural icon, adopted and defined at ground level rather than imposed from the top down.
As Co-Founder and Brand director of @yuth2yuth, KENFO focuses on how this same "bottom up" energy can be structured into a sustainable creative community. Over the past week, Nike yuth club presented a multi-day program designed to connect disciplines and audiences. Through workshops, events and open programming, they sought to strengthen local networks and provide a platform for emerging voices.
March 26 marked @nikesportswear Air Max Day, celebrating the legacy of Air Max since the 1987 release of the Air Max 1, the first sneaker to feature visible Air cushioning. In Sydney, Nike partnered with @yuth2yuth, led by Trav and KENFO, creating space for the next generation through Nike yuth club, a community-led program of events.

Building Better [v2]
let me start by thanking all in attendance, ultra grateful for your energies and enthusiasm.
building better [v2] began as a feeling — an energy present in the room as we opened with @mali.jose_o2 record a machete’s ballad for alignment. the sense that we had stepped into a space where honesty could breathe, and creativity could stretch without fear.
building better v2 came alive not only as a panel, but as a conversation that felt like therapy for the mindset of our creative community.
with @matt.2770, @peter.bodega, and @miskitto, we peeled back layers of complexity and stared down imposter syndrome together highlighting the positives and negatives. frameworks became stories. strategies became lived wisdom. what emerged was raw, unfiltered, vulnerable and deeply human. endless love to the panelists for bringing the real to the space.
in that room, we shared more than insights — we shared a vision. one where yuth are amplified, bridges are built, and creativity flows freely across our ecosystem. building better is our commitment to protect expression, nurture ideas, and keep the conversation real.
this is a journey we walk together, shaping a space where we can all rise, create, and build better.

Building Better [v2]
It’s with great pleasure that I welcome our panelists to the first-ever Building Better conversation — where we’ll unpack the nuances of imposter syndrome within creative ecosystems.
These panelists are integral members of our shared creative community. Their work has contributed meaningfully to the forward-thinking development and cultural action we need to see as our nation continues to evolve. Their voices carry substance, influence, and purpose — and they deserve to be platformed.
So, as we embrace our next generation of creative leaders, let’s take a moment to get to know them.
@miskitto — Miski Omar is a Somali-Australian writer, director, and speech pathologist from Western Sydney. Her films have screened at SXSW, ACMI, the Sydney Opera House, and both the Sydney and Brunswick Film Festivals. She can often be found on the streets of Auburn, chopping it up with the uncles and reporting to the ever-watchful aunty surveillance squad.
@matt.2770 — Matt Wilson is a commercial and cultural multi-hyphenate Creative Director from Western Sydney, known for crafting compelling narratives that resonate across diverse communities. Deeply rooted in the region’s creative and cultural landscape, Matt has played a pivotal role in shaping Western Sydney’s artistic evolution. As the owner and director of AWWW, Matt’s creative reach bridges music, fashion, and visual storytelling. He also serves as Creative Director for ONEFOUR and owner/operator of Raro Riche.
@peter.bodega — Peter Sabbagh is a creative producer, artist manager, and co-founder of Bodega Collective and Bodega Studios. With over 15 years of experience, his work bridges grassroots culture with the mainstream, crafting culturally significant experiences that champion diversity, accessibility, and self-expression. Peter’s commitment to platforming underrepresented artists has made him a respected voice in Australia’s creative and music industries.
