X.donamical is het soloproject van Steef, ontstaan in 2014 na zijn vertrek uit de band NOCX. Met een drang naar een eigen, compromisloze sound begon hij te graven in de duistere en harde uithoeken van elektronische muziek – waar genres als Darkcore, Industrial, Metal en met name Old School Schranz Techno samensmelten

Geïnspireerd door artiesten als Nine Inch Nails, Svetec, Author & Punisher, PETDuo, Klangkuenstler, OBI en Starving Insect, begon Steef een zoektocht naar rauwe beats, duistere loops en mechanische energie. Na twee jaar experimenteren was zijn eerste liveset compleet – een explosieve mix van Industrial, Darkcore en Techno – waarmee hij debuteerde op Winterfest 2016.

Sindsdien bracht X.donamical zijn brute livesets ten gehore op ondergrondse evenementen als Noise Chamber, Festerfest en Gotikus Industrialis. Tijdens de coronaperiode (2021), waarin live optreden onmogelijk was, werd in samenwerking met VJ Unit 44 (VisualScumbagz) een intense live set opgenomen en uitgebracht via PolyBase Station – volledig gewijd aan de rauwe energie van old school Schranz Techno.

Die Schranz-vibe is sindsdien de ruggengraat van X.donamical’s performances: harde kicks, industriële grooves en compromisloze drive. Dit is geen achtergrondmuziek – dit is de soundtrack van stroboscopische nachten, zwetende muren en voeten die geen rust kennen.

Having his roots firmly planted in heavier music styles such as Industrial and Metal, the contrast of Randy's solo project Mindarts could not be more pronounced. Mindarts is all about exploring the beauty of techno music in all its facets and bringing the studio vibe to the stage as much as possible.

Expect a voyage from trancy melodic synths, 60's blues, and 90's rave, all packed together with a strong bassline and hammering kicks. Interested? Join the trip.

​Xtort is een elektronische artiest die een duister geluid creëert op het snijvlak van industrial, wave en post-punk, ook wel omschreven als de "Giorgio Moroder van de Doom". Met analoge vintage-apparatuur weeft hij invloeden van pioniers als Kraftwerk en The Prodigy aaneen tot atmosferische muziek die thema's als eenzaamheid en menselijke duisternis verkent. Na een achtergrond in de industrial metal heeft hij zich sinds zijn album Zwart (2021) internationaal op de kaart gezet met eigenzinnige, experimentele live-performances.

Wat begon als een experimentele zoektocht, is uitgegroeid tot een explosieve liveset waarin Old School Schranz en Industrial Techno de boventoon voeren. Met releases op PolyBase Station en performances op underground events als Gotikus Industrialis, staat X.donamical garant voor zwetende muren en een meedogenloze mechanische vibe.
