An apartment that borrows on nostalgia and a fearless sense of colour. Terracotta-hued tiles recall parquet flooring commonly found in older homes, forming a backdrop to a tapestry of leather, marble and timber elements throughout the compact home.

光影裡的用餐劇場｜Dining in a Theatre of Light
這趟檳城設計考察，拜訪了位於喬治市 India House 的餐廳 Peninsula House @peninsulahouse_
這棟建於 1937 年的印度裝飾風格歷史建築，曾作為美國資訊服務館，在沉默空置三十多年後，
由馬來西亞吉隆坡的設計工作室 Wunderwall Design @wunderwalldesign 巧思重生。
他們將一棟被遺忘的戰前老屋轉化為餐廳，保留原本的建築風采，
並以古董家具、天然材質與細膩的設計語言，讓空間重現溫暖與魅力。
推門而入，時間像被調慢了。高聳的樓層與舊木樑吐露著歷史的呼吸，
窗框上斑駁的鐵鏽彷彿在低聲訴說過去的風聲。
設計師選擇克制而溫柔的修復手法——牆面保留了歲月的裂痕與剝落，
像是替建築留下皺紋，也留下靈魂。
正午的陽光緩緩傾瀉在餐桌上，風吹，光線在牆面與桌面之間移動，每張餐桌都像被光收納的舞台。

The presence of water flow, mirrored by a projection art, grounds the space in rhythm and serenity.
The flow ends in a pendulum where water trickles down into a basin, echoing water clocks of ancient times - not to mark time, but to evoke timelessness.
