This Mother’s Day, we reflect on a letter from our Founder and Managing Director, Chris Dobbs, to his own mother - the first shirtmaker of Working Style .

Marie Dobbs, Chris and Tim’s mother helped setup a co-operative factory in their hometown of Marton, which became the first source of WS product. He notes ongoing orders, accounts for her work, and checks in to make sure the increase of orders have not become too much. It’s a simple exchange, but one that speaks volumes: of trust, of care, of a shared belief in something worth building.
