Long distance love is…

This man and I spent the first few years of our relationship in long distance… And as much as it was challenging at times, It built us and the foundations we stand on today.

I truly believe that it is healthy to spend time apart from one another because it’s easy to lose yourself in someone you adore.

Trust me I should know with all my Pisces placements! I’m so here for the merging 😅 but to entwine and become so fully “we” that the “I” gets a little blurry is not sustainable in the long term.

So Yes… that kind of closeness is sacred, but so is returning to yourself. To your own rhythm, your own breath and to your own relationship to the world.

I love who I am when I’m alone.
But there’s something else that happens when I’m with him…
Something that comes alive in me that only we create together.

And maybe that’s the dance…
to be so fully yourself…and still choose each other.

To lean apart just enough to feel the pull…
and to return, not out of need but out of knowing.

This is the first time we’ve spent time apart from each other in almost a year, which is very new for us. It feels even harder after becoming husband and wife and feeling more deeply in love with one another than ever before 🤤

But even across the seas, I feel us.
Alive, woven and so certain.

The distance has never made me question us, it actually showed me exactly where home is.

And just when I thought the magic was over, life surprised me with another beautiful moment — a chance to be with Casey and Helix again, this time in Rome during their honeymoon.

We wandered through the ancient cobblestone streets, soaking in the charm of the city. We shared pizza fresh from the oven, indulged in creamy tiramisu, and found ourselves in awe standing before the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. Every step through the Eternal City felt like another layer of beauty wrapped around their love.

What touched me most was how effortless it felt — the laughter, the stories, the way we could simply be together, celebrating love and friendship in such a timeless place. It reminded me that the most magical memories are often the simplest ones, held in the joy of connection.

Turquoise lakes spilling into one another like liquid jewels, the Adriatic sea lighting up like glass under molten sunsets and white stone streets glowing with history.

Split’s old town wrapped us in Roman history, Hvar greeted us with sparkling nightlife and postcard-perfect views and every corner seemed to reveal another secret staircase, stone archway, or sea-soaked cliff. Croatia is the kind of beauty that makes you pinch yourself.

Would definitely do that again.

The city that took our breath away!

Trying to squeeze Prague into 90 seconds is like trying to bottle a dream.

Our first night cracked open with a sunset feast for our eyes right over Charles Bridge…the kind that poets write about. We found the dreamiest little dinner spot on the river and toasted to the fairytale we’d stepped into.

Prague is seduction in stone. Gothic spires kissing the clouds, baroque curves at every turn, cobblestones whispering with six centuries of footsteps. The Astronomical Clock still ticks its cosmic poetry after 600 years, street art hides between chapels and opera echoes through the square. This city is dripping with history.

The charm factor? Off the charts. Our eyes were drinking the streets in like thirsty lovers.

We stayed near Malostranská station by Prague Castle (a MUST btw) peaceful, beautiful and just 15 mins from Old Town. Staying on this side gave us space from the crowds AND instant access to everything across the Charles Bridge.

✨ Musts in Prague ✨
- Socha Vzpínající Gardens
- The wild dripstone wall
- Sunsets in the parks by the Vltava River
- St. Vitus Cathedral & Golden Lane in Prague Castle
- Prague Philharmonic at Church of Our Lady Týn
- Astronomical Clock (still ticking after 600 years!)

✨ Tips ✨
- You can walk everywhere but wear good shoes. (We were doing 20k steps a day!)
- Trams are cheap & easy.
- Skip the limes…cobblestones will rattle you apart 😅
- Chimney cakes are everywhere (donut ice-cream cones) - pace yourself 🤪
- Let Prague surprise you - opera, blacklight theatre, even buskers can crack your heart open.
- Slow down🌹 The magic isn’t just in Old Town Square. It’s in the side streets where time forgot to catch up, where roses climb old stone walls and you can almost hear the centuries exhale around you.

We could’ve spent a whole week here and still only scratched the surface. Prague is a love story carved in stone. 🖤

After a whirlwind send-off (where my love and I produced a 25-person cabaret 😅), lost passport drama in Dubai and a surprise first-class upgrade, we landed in London in pure style. Helix booked us the cutest little apartment right in the heart of the city, which became an epic base for our wanderings.

We biked through Hyde Park and literally stopped to smell the roses 🌹, cruised into Notting Hill, got lost in the Camden marketplaces, stumbled upon the secret canals (London = mini Venice?!) and spotted monkeys and hyenas, saw a West End play, got pulled into a Covent Garden street show and even waved at Buckingham Palace. The weight of history everywhere made this Aussie girl feel very far from home in the most magical way.

My hot tips for 2 days in London?

✨ The best way to get around London is definitely bike! (Electric Lime bikes and scooters are everywhere. Buy a 200 minute package - it’s way cheaper in the long run)
✨Camden Market is a vibe, amazing food and unique arts and crafts
✨ London has canals! You must stroll along them it’s such a vibe to see all the house boats and life that runs alongside them
✨ if you’re in the West End and want to see a show, make sure you see one that you can’t see anywhere else in the world! You’re in the UK, see something local!
✨ Covent Gardens is a sweet spot to explore, great food options and local entertainment scene alongside unique local shopping options

And now… we’re in Prague. A literal storybook. But that’s a tale for the next reel ✨

Still in awe of the past week…
Our final act before leaving Bali was an offering from the heart - producing, directing, and performing in the Mostly Cabaret for their 3-year anniversary.

Amidst packing boxes, goodbyes, rehearsals and run sheets, we gave it our all - and the magic that unfolded was nothing short of spectacular!

Then without missing a beat, 2 days later we landed in London. Rose gardens, canal finds, theatre nights and royal strolls… we now find ourselves in the fairytale charm of Prague and all its old world wonder.
