Lebanese food with a twist - chef-driven, bold, and seriously fun. We went for the Classic Lamb Shawarma, and let me tell you… this thing is wild. Extra crispy shawarma, perfectly dispersed throughout the wrap (no sad, empty bites), with that spicy oil brushed on the outside giving it that crunch you dream about. The inside stays true to classic flavors, tahini, tomato, onion, pickles, but the execution takes it somewhere new.
It’s crispy, crunchy, savory, and somehow still balanced. Easily one of the most exciting wraps we’ve had in a minute.
My guest AK Brunson, who runs the minimal intervention program at @communityws , picked the wine: Fine Disregard “Los Parajes” Carignane. He wanted something Mediterranean-leaning with a little old-school spice, and he absolutely nailed it. The Carignane had that savory lift and subtle spice that made the shawarma sink into the wine after every bite. A truly harmonious pairing.
