The trainer said she may never ever fully trust that I'm not trying to kill her, (I'm not). So it's extra nice when she forgets the grudge and falls asleep near me.

Happy World Theatre Day! We’re giving a mini standing ovation to ourselves, and our lovely, supportive, talented network of poster design pals (collectively known as The Make It Pop Mafia), who have done so much for our collective sanity. 👇

@rebeccapitt86
Being a part of this little community has brought me previously unforeseen levels of sanity over the last few years. It’s such a privilege to be featured alongside these clever chaps!

@dougkerrrrr
It’s a continuous honour to share space with these wonderful and inspiring designers! Also a big shout out to all the photographers who I would be lost without.

@byemiliechen
My tip is to always pay it forward. I’m so grateful to be part of the ‘Make it Pop Mafia’, a group where peers share advice, cheer each other on, and pass along opportunities. I hope you find your own “Mafia”.

@emgoodmandesign
Thank you for welcoming me into this clan of incredible designers ❤️ Pro tip - put your prices up!!

@haiminh_
So thankful to be part of this brilliant, supportive, and bloody lovely group of fellow designers. Work hard. Be kind. Get a foot hammock. You are welcome.

@louisearich
Happy World Theatre Day! I’m grateful to work in an industry that celebrates craft and big ideas, but I thank my lucky stars on a daily basis that I’m part of this talented bunch of kind, generous and very witty designers.

@mightyfinedesign
Our Whatsapp group is one of my favourite haunts, and I’m so grateful for all the laughs. My biggest tip is to build your own community - don’t wait for one to find you!

@dialemformartha
My tip would be to try to fall in love with the idea as much as possible!

@stephpynedesign
Happy WTD! Stay curious, ask questions, and find (or build) a community of people whose work you love.

@ghostlightstudios_
It’s such a joy to find a community that’s so helpful, talented and welcoming. Reach out to the people you look up to - they’re never as scary as you think! :)

@williamandroids
This group makes me realise I’m not mad, or if I am, we are all insane together.

Special mentions to other members: @mjulings @desktidydesign @madison_coby @jedlybedly @mrjattski @emily_waterfield_design @adrcrtv @tabby1

Been lucky enough to be ringside to watch Olga Koch, with her director Jet Vevers and team, put this show through final checks. I made this poster for her and some video assets. Poster wise, Andrew Kimber's photography is doing the heavy lifting - but it all stems from Olga's clear-as-a-bell concept🔥. It's on tonight at the Soho. A performer at the height of her powers. Go see.

Let's talk about money. Tldr. I would budget something between £500 and 600. Although I have done work for as low as 250. This does not include photography #posterdesign part 2
