Steven Brown, one of the pioneers of the New York No Wave scene, presents his brand-new album. In 1977, the American cosmopolitan @stevenbrown.official founded the art-rock band Tuxedomoon. Their first albums were released by the avant-garde group The Residents on their label Ralph Records, and Tuxedomoon quickly became one of the most influential bands of the 1980s. Steven Brown has lived in Mexico for decades – His body of work now comprises 15 Tuxedomoon albums and more than 20 albums recorded under his own name or with his Mexican bands Ensamble Kafka, Nine Rain and Cinema Domingo Orchestra. He has also composed music for dance (e.g. Maurice Béjart), theatre and, in particular, film.
When It’s Over is a new Vienna-based duo of Klaus Rabeder and Markus Steinkellner> @idklang , fusing atmospheric guitarwork with minimalistic synths on top of hypnotic beats, while brooding vocals guide the songs from introspective calmness to abrasive peaks. The band draws influences from Post-Punk, Darkwave, Black Metal and Noise Rock. They are currently recording their debut album @when_its.over
