Aia Sofia Coverley Turan and Cecilie Skov have created 20 editions of unique silkscreen prints to accompany their exhibition "Some Windows Are Blind", which runs at 44Møen now and until November.
The prints are made at Wee Press (@weepress) and are all signed by the artists, who participated in the handmade creation process. They cost 250 kr. each, 200 kr. for members of Club 44Møen. Get them next time you visit the kunsthal <3
44Møen is open all summer, Wednesday–Sunday, 11:00–17:00.

“TROGLODYTE” is a spin-off print exhibition related to Halfdan Pisket and Masar Sohail’s ‘The Mullah’. It comprises a series of photogravure prints created through collaboration with Halfdan Pisket, Masar Sohail, and artist/printmaker Benjamin Savi at Wee Press, Copenhagen.
SPOILER ALERT:
The premise of the exhibition is based on the final scene of Halfdan Pisket & Masar Sohail’s film “The Mullah,” where the main character meets his demise at the hands of a predatory machine.
The plot of the film “The Mullah” orbits around a one-eyed Mullah and the relentless pursuit of him facilitated by cutting-edge aerial and land drone technology. Throughout the visual sequences, the audience actively tracks the Mullah’s journey, from traversing deserts to delving into caves. This pursuit is depicted through the lens of the drone’s detached mechanical viewpoint, reducing expansive landscapes to mere ‘grids’ and coordinates. Sensory perceptions such as feeling, thinking, or emoting are transformed into the mechanized process of registering, collecting, and processing data.
The final scene was shot on location at Mønsted Kalkgruber by cinematographer Christian Karlsen.
Sound design by Maiken V. Bauer. Robot handlers Samuel Brøgger & Jonas Bæch.
Exhibited are 4 photogravure prints and the final scene of the film.

For the second edition made at Wee Press, Sofia Olsson has created 6 new individual prints. The prints are a mix of hard ground and soft ground etchings in multiple colours and varying dimensions.
In Sofia Olsson's work there are no clear boundaries between humans, animals and plants. By dissolving the categories, Olsson wants to explore our understanding of reality and its structures.
In Olsson’s new series of prints, the world is in various stages of disintegration. The title of the works, In transit,refers to today's endless, incessant flow of information, where all information is constantly "data-in-transit rather than data-at-rest". Transit is an intermediate state: a place between places, a phase between phases in development, and something that is indefinable and unfinished.
Sofia Olsson was born 1987 in Sweden. She graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2020, and lives and works in Copenhagen.
The 6 editions are produced in collaboration with Wee Press and are made in editions of 6.
