Visual Atelier 8
Evolve the Future. 🌐
Empowering creative culture.
@visualatelier8 presents DEVIATION by @studiosvensauer
The installation stretches across the room like a carpet of glass fragments, woven from shards collected worldwide. Broken glass often feels ominous: shattered windows before earthquakes, shards from riots, or jagged borders meant to keep people out. Today, it can seem as though shards are everywhere, and humanity doesn’t always appear in the best light.
Based on texts by historian @RutgerBregman, DEVIATION reveals another truth: in times of crisis, people tend to move closer together, and acts of kindness grow. Negativity may be louder, but history shows cooperation prevails. From certain angles, the processed shards catch light and divide it a hundredfold, turning fragments of destruction into reflections of hope.

Artist @ema_b_g collaborates with Nike on a new visual direction for Nike Kidswear. The project transforms her coloured pencil and graphite drawings into playful graphic artworks shaped by fragmented memories and anime references.
Based in Tokyo and originally from Lisbon, Gaspar developed her visual language by sketching paused VHS scenes from series such as Cardcaptor Sakura and Digimon during childhood. Her layered compositions combine doll-like figures, natural forms, and disconnected elements to recreate what she describes as an “atmosphere of memory.”

@naercph has created the Loop Candleholder, a brushed stainless steel object formed from a continuous metal ribbon that suspends a burning candle above its cylindrical base.
Melted wax drips directly back into the holder, turning the candle’s consumption into part of the piece’s functional ritual.

@andreamancuso_studio presents LUMIAC (Light Unit Mechanised Iintelligence Apparatus Computer), a light installation developed for @nilufargallery during Milan Design Week 2026. Suspended mechanical elements move through space with articulated gestures, generating shifting reflections and choreographed light sequences.
The project investigates the relationship between human intuition and machine logic through motion, structure, and artificial response.

@spy__studio presents HALOS, a large-scale installation commissioned by @brightfestival Festival Florence, composed of suspended gold and silver circular elements in continuous rotation. Set within a former railway factory in Florence, the work activates the verticality of the atrium, where three levels offer shifting perspectives across the space.
As the discs rotate, light fragments and recomposes into a dynamic constellation of reflections. The installation evolves through movement, both mechanical and human, expanding visual depth as visitors navigate the environment.

Developed by @eugenio___costa and @nicolo_tallone, the system uses a three-axis joint with a quick-lock mechanism to connect irregular branches without screws.
Starting from raw wood, the process shifts toward selecting and understanding material before assembly, allowing structures to grow through adaptation.
Rooted in research on local wood species in Lombardy, Omnibite proposes a modular approach where natural variation becomes part of the construction logic.
