1. Chill on a beach 🏖 The teal blue water & white sand beaches are the stuff of tropical fantasy! There are national park beaches, private beaches, and quiet hike-in beaches - but all are beautiful!

2. Hike! 🥾 There are 22 trails in the National Park. See forests, ocean vistas, petroglyphs, and plantation ruins.

3. Snorkel 🤿 Swim the reefs to see sea turtles and tropical fish

5. Relax! 🏝 St. John is more laid back and in nature than its neighboring U.S. Virgin Islands.

Honeymoon Beach was absolutely incredible and the best part is you can walk from Great Cruz Bay, if you’re staying in the area, to this secluded beach away from town.

🥾 All you have to do is walk to the Virgin Islands National Park Visitors center and head to the Lind Point trailhead right behind the building. There are some stairs you’re going to head up and then you’ll be on the trail headed to the beach. I definitely think this is a beginner trail and wasn’t an intense hike by any means. The scenic hike is about 1 mile each way and takes about 20-30 minutes.
You eventually pop out of the forest and end up on the beautiful Honeymoon Beach.

🏝 Honeymoon Beach is FREE but offers an awesome day pass which includes: kayaking, lounge chairs, floats, lockers, snorkel gear, and access to changing rooms and bathrooms for $49!
It was well worth it and the staff was extremely helpful and kind. I highly recommend!!

🚗 You can also drive to Caneel Bay and park in their parking lot, then pay $5 a person, each way, to be shuttled to the beach.

St. John - a place I will never get tired coming back to!
An island with some of the best Caribbean beaches and some of the most gorgeous views! Below are some things to know:

You cannot fly into St. John. You have to fly into St. Thomas and then take a quick ferry over.

You can stay on St. John, but the options are pretty limited & more expensive and get booked-out months in advance.

Rent a Jeep and go explore the island. Majority of the island is a National Park, so you can see a lot of birds, reptiles and animals in their natural habitat.

All of the beaches have tiny parking lots that fill up fast.
I suggest going early in the morning if you want to get a spot. You can also take a taxi that will take you anywhere around the island.

Trunk Bay is the most popular beach and it has a cover to get in. It is, in my opinion, the most beautiful beach on the island.

The Caribbean is my favorite color! 🤩

I'm totally a 'crystal clear, torquise blues' kind of beach person... above all else, water the color of the Caribbean is what I prefer!

When I dream of perfectly warm and tropical, the Caribbean is what I think of. Everything is just so much different there - even the humidity feels different and more tolerable. The temperature doesnt change, the sun just goes down at night and all is well and warm and comfortable on the Islands. 🌴

There's just something about being close to the equator like that! ☀️
