I love posting my outfits and stylings not because I think I have all the answers, but because dressing up has always been one of my favorite forms of self-expression.
For me, style, hair, and makeup have never been just about appearance. They’re a non-verbal language. A way to show different layers of who I am, how I feel, and sometimes even who I need to become that day.
Lately, I’ve been getting messages from women asking me for tips and tricks, for rules on how to dress, how to be more feminine, how to “get it right.”
And the truth is -I’m not a stylist.
I won’t give you 10 rules on how to dress.
But I will tell you this:
If you stood in front of the mirror this morning wondering whether that dress is “too much,” wear it.
If it makes you feel beautiful, powerful, soft, sensual, alive -wear it.
Yes, of course, there are things worth keeping in mind. Respect your proportions. Respect the setting. But beyond that? Have fun with it. Play. Explore. Let yourself express something. Let yourself take up space in your own way.
Because style is not about obeying rules.
It’s about feeling at home in your own skin.
And I say this with real awareness, because somewhere in this world there is a woman who does not get to choose at all.
Not her clothes.
Not her hair.
Not even her own path.
And I know what I’m talking about, because in many ways, I was that woman once.
I come from a culture where women are often limited in their choices -in how they live, how they dress, how they move through the world. So whenever I catch myself overthinking whether something is too bold, too much, too noticeable, I remind myself of this:
To choose for yourself is a privilege.
To express yourself freely is a privilege.
So no, for me this was never just about clothes.
It’s about choice.
It’s about freedom.
It’s about not shrinking when life finally gives you room to exist as you are.

So if you want one rule from me, here it is:

Wear the damn dress.
Freedom deserves to be seen.

Being a makeup artist has given me a front-row seat to something extraordinary: women learning to see themselves again.
Yes, my tools are brushes, textures, colours, fabrics, silhouettes… the little things that help us express who we are. But what I truly love is the moment when a woman looks in the mirror and something shifts — when she remembers her softness, her power, her presence.
That’s the part of my work that brings me the deepest joy.
Not because I believe every woman needs makeup. Not at all.
But because helping a woman reconnect with herself -in whatever way that happens -is one of the most beautiful things I know.
For me, being a woman also means allowing myself to be playful. Girly. Curious. To enjoy dressing up, twirling in beautiful fabrics, putting on a lipstick just because it makes me smile. It’s not the most important part of womanhood -our true superpower is far deeper than that -but it’s a joyful one, and I celebrate it.
And yes… before celebrating anyone else, I celebrate myself too.
Some might call that narcissistic. I call it necessary. Because I truly believe you cannot genuinely respect and love others if you don’t first learn how to do that for yourself.
Maybe that’s also why I believe this:
I don’t want to be the kind of woman who makes another woman feel smaller. I’m not interested in silent competitions or quiet comparisons. Life is already demanding enough.
If we’re sharing this world, these fears, these messy beautiful human experiences, I would rather be the woman beside whom another woman feels safer, more seen, and a little less alone in her own mind.
Not because we’re all “sisters” in some slogan.
But because I know how hard it is to remain whole in a world that constantly asks you to shrink.
So if I have a choice about the mark I leave behind, I choose not to be the reason another woman doubts herself.
And if I can help her remember her power -even with something as simple as a lipstick, a dress, or a moment of beauty -then I consider that a very good day’s work.
