This summer, my friend @vaulfe and I got the chance to direct a short film for @nounsfest ! ⭐

We’re really excited to introduce our new short film “Hapeepee Christmas" brought to you by @nounsfest

Our movie is about Santa going head-to-head with a snowman during his mission to deliver gifts. 🎁 🎅

If you’re in Los Angeles tomorrow, you can check out the premiere @theunitedtheater
You’ll get to see 50 new animations from some of the coolest animators in the world ! We’re super proud to share our film, and we can’t wait to see all the other participants’ shorts! ❤️

I grew up in a village in the south of France, near the aerodrom where the French Acrobatic Patrol ( Know as "la PAF" aka " La patrouille de france ") who is the precision aerobatics demonstration unit of the French Air force.

for a few months in the year, you can see them every day at lunch time, and as a kid outside the fact that it was like an alarm clock for lunch break at school, it always was a source of fascination. Seeing these planes doing all this acrobatics in the fiery blue sky was so crazy ! And everytime i see them or hear the sound of the reactors, it brings me back in time when you knew summer was almost here and life used to be simpler ( i guess ?)

i did this concept thinking about this but, also for a story i'm working on.
