Born and raised in the UK saw MONK first pick up a controller at the age of 13. Contrary to popular belief MONK did not gain his mixing skills in the monasteries of Tibet. However, he had been spotted spinning the deeper and minimal sounds of DNB high in the mountains of India and the beaches of Thailand. 2021 brought about MONK's first Perth set and many more followed.
