Packing for road trips feels slightly less chaotic when the bags are functional and pretty 🤎

The @tobiqtravel 60L and 30L duffles have been making van travel in our @vandoitco so much easier with built-in organization compartments, tons of storage, and enough durability for real life on the road with kids.

No more digging through one giant black hole looking for socks five minutes after we leave camp. 🙃

These genuinely make travel days feel more put together.

This race is 2 weeks out from @unboundgravel XL, so it’s going to be fun to balance this effort with a big race coming up 🙌🏼

17 hours in and we’re officially in full road trip creature-feature mode 🚐💨

Colorado ➝ Utah today, with a Nevada overnight stop planned. Somewhere between the miles and the snacks… we saw Bigfoot (yes, THE Bigfoot… and no, we will not be taking questions at this time 🫣👣).

Last night we pulled into a HIPCamp spot, made dinner straight out of the back of the van like the classy wilderness chefs we are 🍽️🌲 and then got a much much needed 9 hours of sleep… the kind that resets your whole soul.

Before we left Grand Junction, we stopped at the cutest little coffee shop: Monumental Coffee ☕️✨
The record player was spinning, the vinyl selection absolutely hit, and we sipped our coffee to a little John Mayer like we were living in a cozy indie film.

And then… we met Larry.
The kind of older man you just know has seen some things, knows a thing or two about life, and could probably tell you stories for hours without ever repeating himself. He was rocking jean shorts held up by suspenders like it was a formal outfit, and honestly… it worked. We stood there chatting about the good ole days and the river levels (he’s concerned 🌊😅), and we genuinely could’ve stayed all morning.

Today’s lunch stop: Black Dragon Canyon 🏜️
And we are SO glad we threw that awning on the van last minute because that shade was not just helpful… it was life-saving 😮‍💨☀️ We also got asked three separate times about or van! Loved being able to say, that’s Rich’s art on the side too!

We also stopped at Ghost Rock… not as scary as it sounds, but definitely worth the stop 👻🪨

And for a little entertainment, we got to watch Rich trying to feed the ravens… which felt less like feeding birds and more like negotiating with flying gangsters 🐦‍⬛😂

Colorado ➝ Utah today, with a Nevada overnight stop planned. Somewhere between the miles and the snacks… we saw Bigfoot (yes, THE Bigfoot… and no, we will not be taking questions at this time 🫣👣).

Last night we pulled into a HIPCamp spot, made dinner straight out of the back of the van like the classy wilderness chefs we are 🍽️🌲 and then got a much much needed 9 hours of sleep… the kind that resets your whole soul.

Before we left Grand Junction, we stopped at the cutest little coffee shop: Monumental Coffee ☕️✨
The record player was spinning, the vinyl selection absolutely hit, and we sipped our coffee to a little John Mayer like we were living in a cozy indie film.

And then… we met Larry.
The kind of older man you just know has seen some things, knows a thing or two about life, and could probably tell you stories for hours without ever repeating himself. He was rocking jean shorts held up by suspenders like it was a formal outfit, and honestly… it worked. We stood there chatting about the good ole days and the river levels (he’s concerned 🌊😅), and we genuinely could’ve stayed all morning.

We had to get creative with six people inside a van!

No built-ins.
No fancy appliances.

Just a portable setup that lets us make easy meals wherever we park — inside the van, outside by the lake, or at a random trailhead in the middle of nowhere. 🚐✨

And honestly after 3 years- I wouldn’t change a thing!
