The @rogerslowellchamber hosted 15+ students at Rogers High School this week for the National Civics Bee Local Competition, designed for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders interested in civic literacy and community engagement.

After identifying community issues and proposing solutions through an essay, attendees participated in a live quiz and Q&A with a panel of judges. Now, the competition’s top three finalists will move onto the National Civics Bee State Competition in Conway, Arkansas.

The National Civics Bee is a program of @civicsbuzz, an initiative of the @usccfoundation, dedicated to advancing and promoting civics knowledge in schools, workplaces and communities.
