UNOBSTRUCTED ISSUE #4 [REBIRTH]

It’s been a while.
Our last issue came out in 2021, just before many of us relocated to the Netherlands. Back then we had no idea what lay ahead, but even as life moved forward, this project, and our connection to you, stayed on our minds.

Over the years, we’ve grown. We’ve learned, unlearned, and gained the tools to take this platform further: both in quality and purpose. What started as a digital space to showcase the creative talent of our close friends, expanded to the ABC islands with each iteration, and now also the SSS, we aim to not only highlight talent but also spark reflection, educate and think about our history, our present, and the future we’re shaping.

That’s why this issue centers on rebirth.
A word that can mean many things: beginnings, endings, grief, transformation, or simply entering a new chapter.

In this issue you will find articles, photography, poems, illustrations, minigames, interviews, and artist profiles contributed by creatives from the ABCSSS and their diasporas.
