I’d been telling people to give me items that might have some sort of cool vibe but don’t particularly have any use or purpose in their lives. Finding and capturing the right balance of the real and surreal was the goal. I knew that we would build something to mirror the UPWARD ecosystem, and I didn’t know what or how…but I had so much trust in Laura, Stephanie, Tatianna, Avery and this crazy vision that I wasn’t worried.

That day is one that I’ll always remember and cherish - I have so much gratitude for those folks and their ability to come together (for the first time) to make something that speaks to the vision while having such a great time. Lastly, I wanna give a special thanks to the visual director Laura Isabel Tropi 👏🏾who took what we did even further in masterfully designing all of the album art and physical designs.
