Growing up between cultures means learning how to exist in more than one world at once, and sometimes not fully in any of them. This is a short film about Adult Third Culture Kids (ATCKs), whose childhoods across borders and cultures leave them with a life shaped by many homes, and a perspective they carry into adulthood.
Through abstract visuals and movement, the film explores identity fragmentation, adaptation, cultural displacement, and the complexity of living between worlds, where internal and external realities blur.
Based on my own experience as an ATCK, this project is both a creative and reflective exploration.

“Circle Domain” is a collective exploration of circular movement and formations.
Circles are among the oldest and most universal symbols in human thought. Having no beginning and no end, their simple shape reflects a deeper truth about existence itself: everything in life moves in cycles.
On a personal level, we experience cycles through growth, struggle, healing and distress. Moments of difficulty, spiraling downward are followed by periods of joy and enlightenment as we continuesly navigate the ups and downs of our life.
Instead of seeing these shifts as disruptions, we can understand them as part of a natural flow. Like a circle, we always return, but each time with new perspective and deeper awareness.
