It’s crazy that after 20 years of marriage, there’s still much to be discovered about each other. At this point in our lives, a few things I’m loving are your willingness to learn new things, your determination to get better at them and the way you encourage people. While some years have been a cake walk and others not so much, I’m grateful it’s you I get to experience it all with. Love you so much @turtleboy32 ! Happy 20 years! 💚

So I saw this dude in the lineup at a place I don’t really surf at (9th street in HB) and recognized him from work. That was the beginning of the VA surf team. Drafted another anesthesiologist from the other VA and took an epic surf trip to Bali for Patrick’s 40th birthday bash! Never paddled so hard in my life 😅. Thanks to @padangpadangsurfcampbali and the best coach @randy_surfdaysbali for not just teaching us how to surf better but showing us how awesome Bali is 💙. Special thanks to our wives for even letting us do something like this 🥰, it was something special that we’ll never forget

A lot has happened in a year! He started junior high, got his first communion, outgrew his mama, grew a beard… he sleeps a lot more but when he’s awake he’s still a really great, loving kid. Love u my boy, happy 13th birthday!!!
