Monday morning ✨reset✨

Something so many of you have recognised is how many things I like to keep in boxes when it comes to setting up my makeup kit. I’m an absolute sucker for luxury makeup and everything that surrounds it. The packaging, the outer packaging, the layout - all of it adds its own feel of elevation and there’s no way it’s going in the bin or decanted into little plain plastic bottles.

Condensing and refining will always be my approach over decanting. What’s yours?

My favourite approach to makeup will always be the ‘still me, just elevated’ look 💫🤌🏼

So in love with this gorgeous finish on the angel that is @jillandrewx - she is the epitome of timeless, radiant beauty. An absolute dream to work on too 🤎

After the response to my last post around what I teach within my training, I thought I’d properly show you what a day working with me actually looks like 🤎

A lot of artists come to train with me thinking they need to completely reinvent themselves to start attracting better clients, creating stronger work or feeling more confident in their artistry. But most of the time it’s not about becoming someone else - it’s about tuning in to what’s already there. Strengthening your technique, understanding you & your why, learning how to create an experience clients remember and trust you for.

Watching artists leave with more clarity and belief in themselves will always be one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. I still can’t believe how far these two lovely ladies travelling to join me. Harpreet, from Birmingham in England & Chloe all the way from Thurso in the very north of Scotland 🥹

My next available course will take place in October and the waitlist is already growing. There will only be 3 spaces available, which will officially open to secure via deposit on Tuesday 26th May.

If you’ve been craving more direction or a stronger sense of identity within your artistry and business, this one’s for you 💫

Swipe for the highly requested breakdown of what I plan to film when working a wedding morning 💫

One of the biggest mindset shifts for me was stopping treating content creation and social media as something separate from my job. It IS part of the job. We’re in an era where potential brides and clients are naturally going to look you up, connect with your work, your energy and the experience you create before they ever enquire. Social media is essentially a free portfolio sitting right in front of us every single day and I can’t say enough how important it is to use it intentionally.

Content can and will become so much less overwhelming once you stop overthinking it and start approaching it with a plan.

At my last wedding, I captured a handful of moments throughout the morning and that alone has now given me enough content for tutorials, reels, stories, reviews, portfolio and client experience posts. You genuinely do not need to film your entire life to show up consistently online.

The biggest thing I’ll say is that nobody is judging you as much as you think they are. Most of the hesitation comes from being stuck in your own head. Once you move past that, you open yourself up to so many opportunities, clients and connections you would’ve otherwise missed.

I’ll be teaching so much more around this inside my next two fully booked courses. The waitlist will be opening very soon for my October intake 🤎

If you’d like first access, DM me the word LEARN.

The initial silence when the bride is too stunned to speak & the emotions begin to set in gets me every single time. Some reactions are loud, some are gentle - but they all hold such a special place in my heart as your bridal makeup artist 🥹💫

An unpopular opinion but brides to be, let my beautiful bride, Emma, be your sign to know you don’t need to rewrite the narrative and change your entire approach just because it’s your wedding day.

The goal as your makeup artist is always to make you feel like yourself, but elevated. That doesn’t mean adding in lots of different things that you wouldn’t normally go for. It means enhancing what you love and what keeps you feeling ‘best version of you’ 🤎

Would you agree? Let me know 👇🏼

There’s something really special about getting to share these moments with someone who’s been part of your life for over 20 years - none other than my @daniellecreehair 🤎

After years of saying we needed to work a wedding together, seeing it finally happen felt so full circle and we can’t thank Emma enough for the trust she put into us both.

I think brides can feel the difference when the people around them work in complete sync. Everyone commented on how much the morning felt calm, easy, organised - just two perfectionists making sure every last detail was exactly right for our lovely bride 💫

Blessing your feeds with the most beautiful bride, Mrs. Harvey 🕊️💫

What an honour it was to get the lovely Emma ready for her love day. From the minute she reached out, we just clicked and it meant the world to be chosen as her artist. The brief was to always ensure Emma felt like herself; just elevated. I have no doubts you’ll be in agreement at how stunning her final look was. Blushing, radiant and glowing from within! The biggest thank you for putting your entire trust in me, Emma - it was so special to see your vision come to life.

Working alongside my best friend and incredibly talented @daniellecreehair on this one which is just a match made in heaven - how lucky are we ✨

The lovely Ellie at @aleitasbeauty requested to learn my signature style of makeup at her recent 1:1 Ultimate Makeup Lesson.

The focus was to keep the eyes minimal and simplistic and let the skin have its moment. Through sharing lots of advice on techniques, brush positioning & product placement, together we created this gorgeous blushing look on our lovely model, Alyx.

Ellie, the biggest thank you for trusting me to help you with this next step back into the makeup world - I truly can’t wait to watch you grow & succeed 💫

For more details on my 1:1 lessons, pop me across a direct message with the word LEARN to get started

I genuinely think this might be one of my favourite looks we’ve created yet.

Having Ellie at @aleitasbeauty join me for my Ultimate Makeup Lesson to create this look on our gorgeous model Alyx was such a special day and watching her confidence grow throughout the lesson was honestly the best part.

With Ellie already being a nail artist, her attention to detail came so naturally & the level of talent this girl has is undeniable. Hearing her say she’d always wanted to train with me was such a surreal moment - you’d never know that this makeup was done by two different people but these are the incredible results you can achieve under the right guidance.

I can’t wait to show you more of the process behind this look, but for now… here’s your little sneak peek 🤎
