The Green House
This little room was partly responsible for @mi2old4this ‘ plant obsession. It became such a great little spot to grow plants year round, shelter outdoor plants when it rains too much, or even just to tuck some away while they were treated for bugs. This room was a shoddily built addition to the house that leaked water from the day we moved in. Several attempts from our landlord and roommates yielded little progress unfortunately, but hey: maybe the moisture was good for the plants?

Aaaaaaalmost Paradise
This Bird of Paradise plant was one of the first we ever owned. We loved watching it grow and pop up new, increasingly enormous leaves. Then, after about a year, it got infested with scale. It struggled for almost 2 years!!! We thought it would never recover because it was very hard to get at the bugs between the folds of the plant. However, 4 years later is is thriving again and almost taller than @dandyandfriends! We promise progress photos soon, what’s been your toughest plant challenge?
