The Trans* Info Van is a mobile Infoshop and zine library.
The Trans* Info Van is part of a wider project titled ‘Trans Info Shop’, fermenting and supporting anarchist ideas, zines, books and political ephemera. The project hosts events/workshops/readings/book clubs in collaboration with projects, campaigns, venues, organizations and festivals (line up coming v v soon). The longterm goal for the project is to set up a publishing house for trans*, nonbinary and queer artists and authors.
Trans* Info Van and Trans* Info Shop are projects led by artist @emeri____c . The artworks for these projects were designed in collaboration with @sketchstance
Opening tomorrow @lostartlive ‘Pride is a Trans Led Protest’ @homotopiafest is THE long awaited exhibition of the year, battling censorship and transphobia in 2025. We didn’t let that stop us though - the exhibition opens with a reflective evening of conversation, connection and collaboration, featuring a panel with curators @conniefrankish and @gary.needham with artists @mahito_junior_ and @charliesupastar, hosted by yours truly 🏁 and the ever lovely and weird @tstheidiot performing some nice poems with some live sounds 💝
More than an exhibition, the show is a collaborative, solidarity-building project between DIY, radical spaces and cultures. Hosted @lostartlive, it’s a living document of trans resistance, joy and community. Bringing together work from activists, grassroots organisers and artists from Liverpool and beyond, Pride is a Trans Led Protest! centres the voices, histories and futures of trans people.
