Here’s a look at the process of making the Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind poster

It was a lot different from my usual process of drawing an entire poster all together. Here, I drew each memory by itself, without looking at the rest of the drawings, then pieced them all together later

The other thing that was really different was to not have a strong central image or title, something I typically do on posters. I wanted this to have a loose and meandering, maybe even messy feeling, like memories

Going into it, I wanted to contrast the horror of Outbreak Day in Austin, TX with the quiet serenity of when Joel and Ellie encounter the giraffe. This poster is all about their bond, as well as their unimaginable loss and pain. Their story is so beautiful and brutal; ultimately human.

I wasn’t entirely sure if I was the right artist for a Sonic The Hedgehog 3 poster (a question I ask myself everyday), so when I was asked to do it, I watched the trailer and immediately saw the visual and print potential. The colorful cast of characters, Shadow Hedgehog’s intensity and rocket shoes, the speed trails, the Akira motorcycle skid, and when I saw Shadow smashing through the glass, I knew that was going to be the framing element.

I always enjoyed the Sonic story as a kid, mainly in the comics and tv show, so I knew the characters’ importance and relation to the story. Needless to say, I had a lot of fun working on this, so a massive thanks to @popcore.us for setting this up!

My poster pays tribute to Steve Gleason, the former New Orleans Saints safety, who in 2006, blocked a punt which led to the Saints scoring their first touchdown in their first home game since the unimaginable devastation of Hurricane Katrina. The Saints would win that game. It became an important and potent symbol of recovery in the area. Despite his battle with ALS, Steve continues to raise awareness and resources for those battling the same disease.

25% of every poster sold online will be donated to @teamgleason, Steve Gleason’s game changing organization brings people together while raising awareness for and helping countless people living with ALS, a critically underfunded and under studied disease.

It’s such an honor to be able to do a poster for a band I’ve listened to since middle school

My poster pays tribute to Steve Gleason, the former New Orleans Saints safety, who in 2006, blocked a punt which led to the Saints scoring their first touchdown in their first home game since the unimaginable devastation of Hurricane Katrina. The Saints would win that game. It became an important and potent symbol of recovery in the area. Despite his battle with ALS, Steve continues to raise awareness and resources for those battling the same disease.

25% of every poster sold online will be donated to @teamgleason, Steve Gleason’s game changing organization brings people together while raising awareness for and helping countless people living with ALS, a critically underfunded and under studied disease.

Played to perfection by @aaroncmoten, Maximus is a multifaceted, internal, and developmental character and I’m definitely rooting for him!
