Shout out to my husband who spends the mornings entertaining Ro, goes to work, then immediately when he arrives back home, Ro wants him to either build a castle or a fort or draw or tea party or read. He does majority of her bathtime and her bedtime put down if Im tending to the bubs. Mind you, our almost 2 year old speaks in full sentences so she is highly communicative, which can translate to very bossy LOL! And yet somehow, Jon still has energy and brain power to go and write multiple songs and GREAT songs. He is in his superhero era for sure so give him a little extra love 😊

6 months in the making. Who knew Jon was so clairvoyant when he wrote this song 7 years ago?? We all can't wait to meet Finn next year! Roey is going to be a great big sister.

Whelp, the Hall girls are sick for Thanksgiving so we are missing out on the big Thanksgiving gathering while Dada takes care of us at home. Saying I'm grateful for this little family is a gross understatement.

Running on mom time...finally posting about our 4th wedding anniversary trip to Disneyland!

Yes, we chose to celebrate our anniversary by taking Ro to her first Disneyland trip. We stayed at the Grand Californian and visited both parks and saw Tita K perform! Thanks to Tita K, we were able to enjoy a discounted hotel and free tickets, what a legend! Lola and Lolo joined for the first day, and Tita K and Uncle Ro joined the second day.
.
It has always been my dream to take my baby to Disneyland. Disney was a big part of my life growing up doing National Dance competitions and then later I was able to perform in 2 shows in Disney. Jon also recorded a lot of Disney background vocals as a child and later as an adult and some of the songs are still heard playing in the park! So this was so special for both of us and it did not disappoint.
.
Roey girl was fully confident in walking and refused to use her stroller other than to take a nap. She enjoyed the Little Mermaid ride and Its A Small World (jon was on the original recording of that song! Not sure if it's still the same one!) She loved the parades, the music, the dancing, all the people! Never once had a meltdown (but if you know Ro, you're not surprised.)
.
To top it off, our balcony had the most perfect unobstructed view of the fireworks! The second night I decided to look on YouTube for someone's home video of the fireworks and sure enough, there were plenty. I synced it up and we watched a beautiful show from our room, with our baby already bathed and ready for bed. Truly magical.
.
Being there altogether felt like a dream i never knew I wanted so badly.

Jonnie Hall, Sooly, Baby Sweeties, Tooms... we have lived so many lives. And then we met and lived a few more together. And now this new chapter/book of life is just unreal and incredible and I told you before but I KNEW you were the type of person that would be an incredible not only spouse but life partner and an even more incredible father. And I was right. (I usually am heh!) You are the foundation of this family and Ro is beyond lucky to have you as a Dada and I couldnt imagine my life without you. I love you babe. We did good 🥹😊

It has always been my dream to take my baby to Disneyland. Disney was a big part of my life growing up doing National Dance competitions and then later I was able to perform in 2 shows in Disney. The second night I decided to look on YouTube for someone's home video of the fireworks and sure enough, there were plenty. I synced it up and we watched a beautiful show from our room, with our baby already bathed and ready for bed. Truly magical.

On May 8, 2025, my baby turned a year old. WHAT?? Time truly does fly. What an incredible year. So much happens to a little person in their first year of life. They are learning new skills at an exponential rate. What I didn't quite realize was how much I would exponentially grow within the first year. Being A mother and being HER mother for a year has been both uncomfortable and yet the most natural experience.

To say I'm obsessed with my daughter is a gross understatement LOL! She is the frigging cutest...she is standing, walking with assistance, climbing up and down, clapping, babbling and dancing...so much dancing!She enjoys great food, snuggles and comfy cozy blankets and stuffies, loves giving kisses, enjoys nature, loves all doggies, and OBSESSED with Moana, especially the music. She loves hearing her daddy sing and watching her mommy dance.And she's potty trained. Like....what?? Girl cant even walk yet bahahahaha

Everyday I see her do something new, I feel like I'm killing it as a mom, and yet I also simultaneously always think I'm not doing enough. What is that post partum curse? How rude.

I keep reminding myself that she is the biggest she's ever been and the smallest she will ever be. Soaking in every moment with her, always.

On May 8, 2025, my baby turned a year old. WHAT?? Time truly does fly. What an incredible year. So much happens to a little person in their first year of life. She wakes up every day smiling, she loves music, just now started to dance when music is on, still is obsessed with the color yellow, truly obsessed with her Wizard of Oz pop up book, and Sari, and eating whatever mama and Dada are eating. It's so fun to introduce her to new experiences or just have her along with whatever we are doing.
