Earth Day isn’t a once-a-year practice, it’s how we approach every day. 🌎💚
From sourcing ingredients within 250 miles of Chicago to building menus around what’s in season, our kitchens are guided by what’s fresh, local, and thoughtfully grown. Our on-site greenhouse, home to over 80 varieties of herbs and greens, brings that connection even closer—right into the dishes we serve.
Beyond the plate, we’re working to close the loop—composting food scraps through @wastenotcompost #, donating surplus meals through @gocopia, and making operational choices that reduce waste and support a more responsible way of hosting.
A small part of a bigger system—but one we’re committed to, every day. ✨

Sustainability isn’t a trend for us, it’s part of how we work, every day. 🌎
From sourcing local, seasonal ingredients to partnering with Midwest farmers, we’re committed to creating menus that support both our community and the environment. Thoughtful planning helps reduce waste, while partnerships with organizations like COPIA and WasteNot ensure surplus food is donated or composted responsibly.
Because great events should feel as thoughtful behind the scenes as they do at the table.

Food has always been at the heart of what we do, not just how it’s made, but how it brings people together. This season, our team packed and donated 100 kitchen boxes to families supported by Hephzibah Children’s Association, each filled with cookware, pantry staples, and a cookbook to help create moments around the table. We hope these boxes spark shared meals, time together, and small moments that turn into lasting memories. We are honored to support @hephzibahhome and the incredible work they do for children and families in our community.

I am honoredto be recognized by @crainschicago Business as one of their 2025 Notable Leaders in Sustainability!
At The Paramount Group, sustainability isn’t just a goal, it’s a responsibility. From opening our Avondale campus and on-site greenhouse to partnerships with local farms and composting initiatives, we’re committed to leading by example in how hospitality can do better for people, the planet, and the community.
We’ve integrated sustainability into every layer of what we do, from sourcing locally and cooking seasonally to eliminating plastic water bottles, composting food waste, and donating meals to those in need. These efforts reflect our belief that good food and good business can, and should, go hand in hand with doing good for the environment.
I’m deeply proud of our teams at @paramountevents, @edeninchicago, @fuelgoodchi, and Lake Street Staffing for championing these values every day. Together, we’re working toward circular solutions that nourish both our guests and the world around us.
Thank you to Crain’s Chicago Business for this recognition and for highlighting leaders across Illinois who are driving meaningful change through innovation and purpose

Returning to Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management for a second time was such an honor! Speaking with students about growing a business, building intentional culture, and the power of authentic connection reminded me how essential it is to stay rooted in purpose.
Culture has to be intentional from day one. For me, it’s built around the belief that when people feel whole, they bring their best selves to work. I used to think success came only from hustle and long hours, but I’ve learned it’s really about balance, creativity, and connection, embracing true work-life fusion.
At The Paramount Group Chicago, we’ve woven wellness into our daily environment through chef-prepared meals, a meditation room, and even a beauty bar. Culture isn’t a “nice to have,” it’s a business strategy. When people feel supported and seen, that translates into exceptional hospitality and long-term success.
I started my career bussing tables and washing dishes at 14, and that experience has always stayed with me. It taught me that every role matters and that true leadership starts with understanding and appreciating the work that happens at every level. I’ve never wanted to lose sight of that. Staying close to the people who make it all happen — from the kitchen to the front of house — keeps me grounded and reminds me what this business is really about.
It was such a privilege to return to Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and share my story with the next generation of leaders. Conversations like these remind me that leadership is an ongoing exchange. We grow when we listen, share, and stay connected to one another. I left feeling grateful, energized, and deeply inspired by the curiosity and purpose of these students!

I’m so proud to share my recent feature in Authority Magazine’s Working Well series, where I had the chance to talk about something that’s deeply personal to me, building a culture of wellness that goes beyond the workplace.
For me, wellness isn’t a buzzword. It’s about creating an environment where people feel supported, mentally, emotionally, socially, physically, and financially.
At The Paramount Group, we’ve learned that when you care for your team as whole people, everything else follows: stronger collaboration, deeper creativity, and a culture that truly thrives.
In the piece, I shared five trends shaping the future of workplace wellness that we’re passionate about at The Paramount Group:
1 Food as fuel and culture, because what we eat directly impacts how we feel and connect.
2. Accessible, everyday wellness, built into the rhythm of the workday.
3. Charitable and community building, finding purpose through giving back.
4. Fueling your leadership, making time to recharge and reflect.
5. Purpose-driven spaces, creating environments that inspire balance and creativity.
It’s encouraging to see more organizations recognize that when teams are well, businesses thrive. Thank you to Authority Magazine and Karen Mangia for the thoughtful conversation and for spotlighting this important shift in how we define work and wellness.

Today I had the privilege of speaking on the C-Suite Stories: Mapping Your Journey to Leadership panel hosted by the @chicagolandchamber of Commerce Women’s Business Council at Bank of America.
It was an honor to share the stage with such dynamic leaders: Maria S. Bocanegra, Dr. Nakia Kay, and Suzanne Yoon, and to be guided in conversation by Susan Birnberg. The discussion touched on so many important themes: what it truly means to lead, the balance (or fusion) of work and life, supporting and trusting your teams, and leading with vulnerability.
One message that resonated deeply with me was that people follow you because they trust you, and trust starts with showing up authentically. For me, that’s always been the foundation of Paramount Events. Leading with care, whether it’s through hospitality, building team culture, or creating meaningful food experiences, is what makes this work lasting. At the end of the day, people don’t just follow leaders, they follow people they can trust.
Thank you to the Chicagoland Chamber Women’s Business Council for bringing together such an inspiring group of women leaders and creating space for these conversations!

Feeling incredibly honored to be featured in @chicagoplannermag as we celebrate 15 years of The Paramount Group. When I started this business, my goal was simple: to create meaningful experiences through food and hospitality. I never imagined it would grow into what it is today — a restaurant, a 40,000 sq ft campus, and a team that inspires me every day.
I’m proud of what we’ve built together. From opening The Lobby and growing our restaurant @edeninchicago, to partnering with organizations like @chicago_gourmet and the @beardfoundation, and giving back through events like @tickledpinkchicago, every chapter has been special.
Thank you to everyone who has supported this vision. I’m so grateful for the people who’ve been part of this journey with me.

Being a 24/7 operation means more than staying open around the clock.
It means lights on before sunrise and trays going out long after the dance floor clears. It means deliveries, builds, breakdowns, resets, and countless moving parts, coordinated seamlessly every day of the week.
While most are sleeping, our overnight bread baker is already at work. By 3AM, our drop-off team is prepping and packing orders. Morning brings breakfast meetings and hundreds of boxed lunches. Then it’s straight into event production: weddings, corporate events, galas, and everything in between.
We don’t just show up. We strive to deliver the highest quality food and service at every hour, for every client. Whether it’s a sunrise breakfast meeting, a corporate lunch, or a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, we’re here. Always ready. Always raising the bar.
Because great hospitality never sleeps.
