in a world of purity spirituality (“…or i go to hell”), ideological perfectionism (will the organizers cancel me?), peace politics (did i give her enough space to process, and other facilitator words), can i just be real?!

can i just tell you i’m annoyed. or no, respectfully, i don’t like you. or no, maybe these posts aren’t gonna be perfect or maybe i do like unholy sex and am loud every time i am passionate. ugh ! ugh god help me be more you, more yucky, complex and in between that all, beautiful. i want to be nasty.

no i am no quiet woman. i am no ‘woman’. i speak to trees and gods and rap beats. docility, is my biggest lie. i am not great at confrontation, still am processing when i don’t even like me (shit, she’s a hard voice) and do things still so my parents like me.

WIDTH ALLOWS SPACE FOR GOD.

this honest width allows me to move more honestly. mother nature speaks not in “woo-woo” ways. but in the language of honesty and power. a third perspective, another way out (and a societal trigger). you know this feeling, you do.

17 months living in Buenos Aires, discovering i could sing, then writing multiple songs - all of these. this is the first time i’m showing this interior world to the public. then all 3 songs on Youtube this Friday (okay tori the influencer! wha?!).

songs worked through some of the most intense, growth oriented times i’ve shared in my life. songs that have shaped me. and saved me. @yukomusix, thank you for believing in me. @guebo._ thank you for being open to creating with a wild Gringa like me.

and fuck. i’m nervous.

90% of my body shivers to your potential responses. then something larger above gently shouts, no tori, “it’s alright to jump”. to express myself as who i am and just say “oh shit this is just me showing who i am, your response is yours” and “how else do birds learn to fly above storms?”

so maybe i’m late to the game of falling in. but when else will i have the chance to experience flight?
