Traditional British tartans are given a contemporary refresh in reclaimed satins. The vibrancy and fluidity of the fabrics, combined with the sharpness and structure of the tailoring mirrors the movement of the African diaspora’s migration and the colourful cultures birthed from the meeting of two worlds.

Reclaimed satins merge the vibrancy of Yoruba textiles with the tradition of British tartans. The palette, juxtaposed against the sharpness of the silhouettes narrate a tale of migrating cultures and the contributions of the African and Black Diaspora to the makeup of Britain.

Reclaimed satins merge the vibrancy of Yoruba textiles with the tradition of British tartans. The palette, juxtaposed against the sharpness of the silhouettes narrate a tale of migrating cultures and the contributions of the African and Black Diaspora to the makeup of Britain.
