5 Tips for shooting a festival for the first time
✅ Be kind and courteous to the other togs – You’re all sharing the same space remember.
✅ Make yourselves known to management, whether that’s stage managers, tour managers etc this relationship will not only help you on the day, but may lead to future work.
✅ Speak to those in charge of Pyro, having a good relationship with them will help you to get the best shots
✅ Don’t stay on stage for the WHOLE set, grab your shot, and get out of there, mix it up, crowd shots, in the pit etc too
✅ Enjoy it, chances are you’re shooting an artist within a music genre you love, so make the most of it.
