A beloved space once closed due to a fire has now reopened its doors as The Inn. Located in Hartland, Wisconsin, this charming and reimagined space takes diners' tastebuds on a journey back to their roots, using wood-fired cooking as their primary cooking technique. Both the space and the food has been thoughtfully curated to provide patrons with a fresh spin on old favorites.

Eighteen years ago, Brian and Rob set out with a simple mission: to build things like they used to.
Much has changed since that garage-born idea, but one thing has remained constant — a deep dedication to thoughtful craftsmanship, tailored spaces, and an unwavering attention to detail, no matter the size of the project.
Today, that vision lives on through a team of 22 craftspeople and designers — former “art kids” turned professionals — all driven by the same purpose: to create spaces that tell stories, solve problems, and bring each client’s vision to life.
Cheers to 18 years of designing and building with heart.
We’re endlessly grateful to our clients, collaborators, and community — and to you, for being part of the journey.
Here’s to many more years of doing what we love.

Set along the waterfront in Wisconsin’s Door County, @stoneharborresort was reimagined to reflect the adjacent Sturgeon Bay.
Inspired by the shoreline, @threesixtymke opted for finishes that draw on a palette of alluring blues and warm golden tones. Featured on the dining room’s custom banquettes, @arccomfabrics’ Paxton in Baltic #5 reinforces the connection to the water.

Bold color. Graphic pattern. Layered texture. This project challenged us creatively in all the best ways, and the final result feels every bit as dynamic as we envisioned.

The Eleanor Room takes tequila seriously, so having a dedicated space at the bar for tastings was a must. A shift in countertop material paired with upholstered panels at the bar front subtly sets the area apart, giving the tasting experience its own identity while making it feel that much more elevated.

Not everything needs to announce itself. Concealed within this custom vestibule is a hidden coat closet. We love moments like this where functionality disappears into the design.

Not just a seat, this is a front-row ticket to the kitchen. Framed in custom green millwork, it pulls you into the smells, sounds, and movement that define the space.

Replacing tables with elevated booths changed everything. By elevating the seating and introducing soft overhead lighting, an underutilized area became one of the best seats in the house.

Soft, bright, and grounded by lakefront views, this primary bath balances calm with contrast. The sculptural wood chandelier adds warmth and movement, while the patterned toilet closet offers an unexpected moment of color tucked just beyond the calm.

This one’s for the music lovers. The ones who feel music weave through their soul, just like this serpentine booth. Designed to feel retro in all the best ways, this space layers warmth, mood, and rhythm into every detail. A recently finished project in Whitefish Bay that we’re excited to finally share.
