Tonight, our podcast “How To Build A Universe” is up for two Australian Podcast Awards.

And somehow, in a field of hundreds of entries, we’re one of the final few standing alongside Bluey and ABC Kids in Best Children’s Entertainment Podcast.

That still feels completely cooked to say.

With exec producer @courtneyammenhauser , and my co host @connectedparentingau This show started as a weird creative challenge: could we make something genuinely funny for kids AND their parents at the same time?

So I threw absolutely everything at it. Writing, producing, voicing, composing, sound design… every exploding spaceship button and ukulele squid.

I never expected children’s storytelling to become part of my career, but I’m so grateful that @mamamiaaus & @lego saw this in me and I’ve loved every second of it.

Hearing from parents who listened with their kids on road trips and bedtime routines laughing at me swallowing a map with critically important directions on it. I love that shit.

Big love also to @jessica.braithwaite & @sillytwistedturtle ’s ideas & cameos throughout ❤️
