30 Tahun Miles: Mendengar Terdengar is where music meets film. Our collaboration with Miles Films and Lokananta Bloc is still ongoing. If you find yourself in Surakarta, come by and spend some time with it.

Rooted in research on the origins of Miles Films and tracing their 30 year journey, we explore the dialogue between analog and digital systems. The space unfolds like a time machine, inviting you to move across eras through sound and image.

We approach sound design as something you can feel through the body. A gesture, a rhythm, a presence. Here, learning happens through play. You are welcomed to listen to the archives of Miles’ films or behind the scenes from the movies, mix and match soundtracks, record your own voice, step into the role of a foley artist, and wander through the layered world of cinema.

Solagua is a motorized installation inspired by El Castillo, the Mayan temple whose form reflects early integrations of water filtration and the tracking of solar cycles. The work traces a path back to earlier understandings of energy and its rhythms, where natural systems were observed, negotiated, and respected.

It begins with a question. What if a solar panel could cleanse itself, instead of using large amounts of water through manual cleaning. What kind of system would allow energy to sustain its own conditions of care.

Solagua revolves around the desire to imagine energy as something not taken, but continuously negotiated through an ethical system. It sits within a long-standing inquiry that does not seek a fixed answer, but remains open and evolving.

@sigitdpratama’s work, commissioned by @officialiforte @iforteenergi for Art Jakarta Gardens 2026.

Why are thousands flocking to the water’s edge at @artjakarta Gardens? 🤔⚡️

It’s not just the sunburst rays or the water mist. It’s because Solagua is doing something no other solar energy company in Indonesia has done before: it lives, it breathes, and it sustains itself. ☀️💧
We’ve moved beyond the “utility” mindset. As the Architects of Cahaya, we’ve engineered a self-cleansing ecosystem where industrial solar technology becomes a living work of art.
Watch our “Meet the Artist” film as Sigit D. Pratama and Ignatius Krishnaya discuss the technical and cultural breakthrough that made this first-of-its-kind installation possible.

Mengapa ribuan orang berkumpul di tepi danau @artjakarta Gardens? 🤔⚡️

Kami melangkah melampaui sekadar fungsi.
Is this the future of our city’s landscape? Let us know below! 👇

🗓 Until May 10th

LIFE AUTOMATED

Every May day, buruh takes the streets. Then after that... Algorithm said ✨ move along ✨.

Feed refreshed. Hashtag buried. Back to doomscrolling.

But the fight didn't end just because your FYP stopped showing it.

For real now... when was the last time you made a choice that wasn't spoon fed by an algorithm?

Your coffee, your playlist, your news, that person you swiped right on. All served up by systems that think they know you better than you know yourself.

Convenient? Sure... But let's not pretend that's the whole story.

Because behind every "seamless experience" there's someone getting absolutely wrecked. The ojol driver whose boss is literally an app... no HR, no bargaining, just a rating system and a termination button.

The journalist writing bangers that flop because the algorithm chose rage bait instead. The musician getting paid dust per stream while platforms profit off their art. And those who just wants their pension money but can't because the app keeps crashing and nobody thought to design it for them.

Your convenience is someone else's burnout. And that conversation deserves way more than one repost a year.

So yeah...here's a whole program to talk bout it.

15 - 30th May at @makaryabuku

Bring your questions, your frustrations, your unfinished poems, your existential dread about AI taking your job. All valid...

Come thru..

[Season 12] • DPP 124 • Sigit D Pratama

“Pola Pikir Spatial Designer”

Meraki(t) by Sigit D. Pratama

Each piece begins with a blank canvas, shaped through change, adaptation, and transformation.

Meraki(t) follows this same rhythm, evolving while holding onto a core language, a signal for what is next.

A softness runs through it — shifting, responding, becoming.

More than movement, it is a state of becoming.

Started with a simple intention: to create a white shirt that makes getting dressed in the morning easier.

Years of learning, refining, and evolving have shaped what we are today. Growth is necessary, but it is always grounded in a clear vision and identity.

As we move forward, our focus remains the same, to serve you better, making every essential decision with care, so you can make one less, every day.
