@eileengu is the first woman to land a double cork 1440 in a freeski competition and the first to land a forward double cork 1440, all when she was 18.

Our Sports Shiftmaker, @eileengu, was honored at Harvard Art Museums for women’s history month.

As one of the most decorated athletes in extremes sports, shifting history; Eileen Gu addressed the Shiftmaker Gala room with a question she asks herself : what is real courage? What does it meant to shift culture? “Being courageous is to be unafraid to be the first. Dare to try, dare to take a little step on your own. Courage is daring to try and as an athlete in extreme sports, that’s the energy I hope to impart to our world” Gu shared.

Thank you, Eileen for inspiring generations of young girls to aim for greatness and for reminding us all to take that little step to try, to shift, and to make history!

For the woman who shifts the world, she deserves her flowers every day. Eileen is that woman.

“No Blue, No Green”; our Legacy Shiftmaker, @dr.sylviaearle

A legacy that encompasses Dr. Earle being the first chief scientist of the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration; having set records for solo dive depths.

Throughout her lifetime, she’s called on humankind to lean on hope and science to protect our oceans.
It’s only fitting that she built a network of Marine Protected Areas called “Hope Spots” through her initiative @mission_blue

This Giving Tuesday, Nili Lotan is proud to partner with The Shift in support of their non-profit arm, the Startup Girl Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) dedicated to supporting female founders and women building the next generation of companies.

Today, 10% of all proceeds will be donated directly to the foundation, helping provide critical funding, access, and visibility to women shaping the future through entrepreneurship.

The Startup Girl Foundation invests in women-led innovation, supporting entrepreneurs whose work empowers and elevates women around the world. Through seed grants and hands-on mentorship, the foundation equips early-stage founders with the guidance, resources, and support they need to grow, succeed, and build the next generation of companies.
