Tops. Maybe even only 303”

Pittsburgh Power Show is a wrap. 16 coffees, thousands of carbs later, what a fun few days in an incredibly attractive City ( real estate aficionados buy here and in 15 years you will be so far ahead you will look really smart!) Thank you Branch Cheng 🇨🇳 Ali Bilal 🇦🇫 and Sas Hereiti 🇬🇧 for your incredibly hard work and patience. Your endless dedication and grueling hard workmakes me look far smarter then I am. 🔪🔪🔪 In this sport you “win some, you lose some” it’s par for the course. We take it in stride. What’s unforgivable is not giving it everything you got and we all gave so much the coffee no longer works.

What an incredibly fun few days with Ali Bilal and Noel Adame on Long Island, prepping for the NY PRO. We trecked to the grocery store together in and out hotels together and of course to Steve Weinberger’s Powerhouse gym (which was voted best gym in the USA the same day of this show). A lot goes on the last few days behind the scenes. It can be very tiring for me but I know it’s even far more exhausting for the people like Ali and Noel who keep pushing to get over the finish line. Congrats to Noel for his second place in the 212 division and Ali for his 1st place in the Mens Physique. @noel.adameifbbpro

Post Arnold UK with the champ and people who have had a big impact on me over the years - and I have coached everyone in this pic at some time or another. CEO Jay. kamal won Arnold and Olympia, and instrumental in this win. Cormier - like a brother to me and an Uncle to my son. Andrew turning up the volume x 2 and of course Farid who benefits by being around everyone here in and out of the gym.

Most things are not accidental or coincidental. They are meant to be. At the Arnold Classic UK with my son Farid, I spied 8 time Mr Olympia Lee Haney. A Giant on the stage and off. 39 years seperate these photos. I was 20 and Farid is 20. In 1987 when I was working for Joe Weider in Los Angeles, Lee would come up to train at Joe’s bodybuilding camp. Everyone came-the who’s who of bodybuilding. Lee was different. He was always speaking kindly to people in the most respectful manner and outside of sets and reps, he would prefer to talk about God family and community. He continues to be that same person.Respect Lee!

People of patience have beautiful endings. What a special week being able to be part of something rewarding and impactful with people you love and respect. My son Farid, my very long time friend Kamal, and of course ( the one and only) Jay who’s been part of my life since he was a kid. Congratulations Andrew.

My 6 year old found this in an old brief case dating back to 1989. Neil Spruce from Golds or Ed Connor’s must have made them up for me. Regardless, it certainly was paid for from your pocket Ed🙃 Golds Venice was without a question one of the most eclecticplaces I had ever been. You would have had to experienced it as no written description can capture the energy and excitement. I use to arrive each morning at 530 AM to train and stay til 8 pm working. 6 days a week. Leading the pack was Charles’s Glass with a 445AM arrival and a 8 pm departure.Just a surreal time to be in Venice
