Anna Camp (@therealannacamp) is used to people thinking she's uptight. Or prissy. Someone who has absolutely zero chill.
It's not her fault—it's just that the actress disappears so fully into the characters she plays that it's hard to see where she ends and the Type-A blondes you love to hate (and then maybe love again?!) begin.
“I'm not afraid of being unlikable,” says Camp, whose memorable characters include #PitchPerfect’s rigid a cappella leader Aubrey Posen, #TrueBlood’s religious zealot Sarah Newlin, and, most recently, as twin sisters in the fifth and final season of @younetflix.
As the season unfolds, Camp switches so seamlessly from a high-strung conniving girlboss (Reagan) into a meek, unempowered pill-popper (Maddie) that it’s hard to believe you’re watching one actor do both. Link in bio to read our interview in full.
