We are so back (after not so long)~~The Pocket Flowers Community Jam continues THIS Thursday at @dahlak_paradise! Bring your roommate bring your soulmate bring your math tutor. We run a free flowing jam session open to all levels of musicianship, sandwiched around an open mic at 10:30, reserved for folks who want to do an original, call a specific cover etc. Hit us up to be on the open mic list or if you have questions! Pocket out $👖💐

Hello pocket people, another thirdsday jam approaches! We are excited to try some new stuff to really dig in and support everyone’s experience as a musician and performer. We have reflected a lot on our role in hosting this event and you can expect us to be very hands on and intentional in how we run this one.

As always, we will shout proudly that this is a space that welcomes enthusiastically all our trans and queer siblings, and if you can’t get with this, we kindly ask that you choose a different jam. Too many music making spaces make no effort to make these folks feel safe, and that is not us.

We really ask that folks come prepared to listen to each other, teach and learn from each other, and to play together. Introduce yourself, be kind, make musical leaps together.
