As someone who's been waiting their whole life for their number to be called, I was certain the mass I saw on that screen was cancer. It looked all knobby and not like the images of benign tumors I had anxiously been googling for the past 2 weeks since I had first mammogram. It looked malignant af.
Luckily it isn't. It's a rare benign tumor called a Myxoid Fibroadenoma. Commonly associated with Carney complex. Which would make sense, as I do belong in the circus.
That was a scary few weeks that would be way scarier if I didn't know I have the best community a dumdum goof like me could ask for.
And now I can get back to my regularly scheduled program of treating my body like dirt and wondering why I feel like ass.

In the beginning of 2016 the shows I performed on all ended their runs. I was burnt out, so I took the opportunity for a little break from comedy to get my Hashimoto’s Disease under control.
I think it was in September that @danielleagnello1900 asked me to guest on The Pack house improv team Fussy and my life changed. Guesting with Fussy led to joining Fussy, which led to guesting and joining Femmebot PhD and Late Nightmare with Emily Candini and a hundred other shows at The Pack.
A BUNCH of shitty stuff happened in 2016 too. Obvs.
But I look back at it as the year I started to take care of myself, the year I joined @packtheater.
